- Discussed basketball concessions, which overall were a strong success! Will review current inventory of items being offered and discussed ways of increasing margins on items
- Reviewed current financial standing of club and discussed preparing tax paperwork for those that have donated over specific amounts
- Shared news that club has received its first corporate donation, and discussed strategies for obtaining additional corporate level support
- Received great feedback for the Fall Sports Banquet, and set some tentative dates for the Winter Sports and Spring Sports Banquets, March 28th and May 23rd respectively
- Received update from Coach Bailey that Superintendent Wilcox and others toured the facilities and stated that “something will happen” to address the situation. Coach will reach out to superintendent for an update
- Looked at the Spring Sports Calendar to plan when to offer concessions for baseball/softball/track, and have the following dates: March 8th, March 13th (Track), March 16th, March 22nd, March 26th. Baseball/Softball Concessions will be at the Baseball Field. Additional dates may be added, will update at next meeting
- Discussed 2nd Maroon and Gold Day, main focus is selecting a date where we are not in competition with other events and promotion to bring more community involvement. Will be a big focus in the next meeting
- Coach Bailey applying for two grants that will help all sports, we are actively looking for other grants and opportunities as well
- Discussed doing Beautification Day Saturday April 23rd around Earth Day, and also having a Booster Club Cookout in conjunction with that afterward. Big focus next meeting in order to get promotion out regarding this
